This is an excellent idea. I think the lighting is a bit off and the line between the black and white should have been clean and true diagonal. Very creative though.

Brighter colors in the roses would have earned a 9. For now, 8.

The lighting on the white rose is wonderful, but the red one is sort of in shadow. Other than that, this is a wonderful photograph
