Theres a lot of noise in this photo and its a little to dark. I also find the level is off and the photo leans to the right which is very distracting. It would be a nice picture tho and like the way you can see right thru the piramid. Good luck and all the best in 2005.

This shot had a lot of potential but fell short in this unbelievable challenge and offer the following things that needed improvement: (and trust me, I know night shots aren't easy)
1)The horizon is off a little (needs CCW rotation)
2) Focus/clarity is on the soft side. Perhaps camera movement?
3) Brighness and / or contrast need to be increased.
4) Main subject is dead-center. A more interesting composition would have it slightly off to one side.
5) Noise level (or image compression) in the sky. Neat image may be of use here.

I sincerly hope these help. Still voted this a ((5))

I'm usually not a stickler for tilted horizons, but this one really stands out. A pretty composiiton to be sure but a little extra post processing could have helped to make the sky less noisy. Nice colors.

Nice shot, but the off horizon lets it down. If you rotated and changed the crop be even with respect to the lines of light on each side, this would be improved.

most interesting composition you have here. love the patterns of lights and lines. i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge, and that viewers are giving this the time necessary to appreciate it. thanks for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come!

Nice choice of subject, but it's a little dark.

too dark for my taste

Nice picture, although it would have been nice if the shutter would have been open just a wee bit longer in order to allow more light and detail in.
Also, the picture is a bit tilted to the right.. that distracts a bit.

A shape like a pyramid with a horizon or line of lights should be fully symmetric and straight. Also colors are a bit drab, underexposed.

Seems a little soft. Also could have benefitted from being rotated so horizon was level.

Definately needs a longer exposure to get some more details for my liking. Horizon seems crooked and image is out of focus.

Nice lighting and composition but I think that the horizon line is just a little tilted...

this is way underexposed and the dead center composition bothers me a lot.

Too dark. I'd like to see more detail.

the contrast of light and dark gives a good twilight and moody feel to this image,. I do however find the angle of the horizon a little distracting.

The crooked horizone here is really offputting, also the image is a little too dark - a longer exposure might have helped. 5
