Greetings from the Critique Club...
Very interesting shot. Anything involving a liquid seems to score pretty well and is visually appealing to the viewer.
Your composition is good, although I'm not completely sure the bottom 1/4 of the image is necessary -- it certainly doesn't detract from the image.
I do feel as though the background (the OOF part) might be a little bright and might draw a *bit* of attention away from the floating water drop -- which may have hurt your score a little.
Great shot, however, and a very interesting idea and way to show your creativeness. |

| Good use of bokeh to highlight the drop. However, the bright background does steal attention from the subject rather than serving only to make it stand out. |

| The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Check. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Check. The color is warm and creamy and the bokeh is lovely and smooth. Very nice. |
