Gives a good hint of the chaos to come ... great combination of sharp focus and soft look.

I love the expression of the chap on the far right. Priceless.

Nicely timed and composed photograph, with good detail and a great point of view, shooting through the other spears. ((8))

This image really swallows the viewer whole, takes them right into the thick of the action. Like this a lot 9.

I find all the spears to distracting in this photo. Couldn't you have asked some of them to put some down??? lol j/k. It makes for a nice almost civil war type shot but all those spears... man alive. Good job and keep up the good work in 2005.

I've never seen a 'war re-enactment' photo that I really liked...until now!

The spears everywhere gives it a beautiful sense of confusion...

Hope you had adequate body armour to get this close to the action.
Nice capture of these two warriors, would have liked to seen a less cropped image and more of the fog and battle.

They look Spanish to me, kill 'em all!
Nice work, spears vs spears. I like the expression on the faces and the chaos. Especially the right one has a funny look. :)

Pennsic? Neat capture. I know the weapons add to the shot - but I wish the face of the man in red was not so hidden. Looks very realistic, though.

Really, really nice work. It is a pity that botht he significant faces are partially obscured by lances...
