Isaac with my dad's ball python at the Pacific Nothwest Herpetological Society's booth at the Key Peninsula Community Fair.

Cropped a bit; cloned out the distracting arm of a white resin chair which was sticking out of his head in the original; blurred the cloned area to match background "bokeh." 2 RGB curves for color/contrast. Three applications of USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH=5. JPEG=8/10.

amazing what children let their parents do, isn't it.
Isaac, you're a trusting soul.

BTW, charming picture.

Thanks -- with my red-green color vision defect I didn't notice the cast -- I'll have to check the numbers in Photoshop and see what I can do about it ... although none of the people who have gotten prints have mentioned it : )

Great capture. Crop feels overly tight.

I find this photo has a washed look about it. By this I mean that the only thing that is crisp in focus is the snake. I also find this photo lacks subject and by this I mean that I find it dull and not very interesting to look at. Good luck and keep up the good work in 2005.

need to adjust the white balance. There is a green color cast.

Very charming image. I like the crop just above the eyes here - the right choice.

Beautiful Ball Python. Has a very nice pattern.

Crazy candid! I don't think I'd want a snake around my neck (even though it is probably harmless). Maybe a little bigger DOF would have got the snake's face in focus as well.

Nice crisp candid. In for some stiff competition in this challenge.
