These frilly forms are hard crystal ice forming on one of my north windows during the long Vermont winter night. Each night they grow, most days they melt, and new ones form come the night. Each window has its own varying forms, varying from window to window each night and varying each night on the same window. The fractal magic is endless as long as winter lasts, and it lasts a long time here in the very north of Vermont. Check out my other prints in the frost series which celebrates the incredible magic of of our long winter.
