ok, please bear with me. voting this challenge is extremely difficult, not just because of the size, but because we are dealing with images that people consider their best. it makes even constructive criticism hard...
for me, this image is more of a documentary-styled snapshot than a challenge entry. while this is perfectly fine for a tourist brochure, i don't think it is going to really capture the emotions of the challenge voters. it's not really the subject, as much as it is the perspective and/or the context. if you don't wind up where you wanted to be in terms of scores and comments, please don't take it personally; just consider it a starting point for the rest of the year. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come! |

| Beautiful area and nice action shot. Colors of the mountains and sky are lovely. The water seems saturated and almost unbelievable, though. |

Great colours and clarity. Seems like a "vacation" shot and not sure how some may react with some of the other images in this challenge. Still a "vaction" shot that I would like to have in one of my albums.
