I really liked this shot. The B&W worked great.

i'll give you this: this image is evocative. i don't like it, mainly because it reminds me of work. all the same, you've made a great capture, and i hope it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of this huge challenge. there is a remarkable amount of detail with very little noise (and done so without appearing to be over-polished). great job, and good luck!

This would have done nicely in the "Faceless" Challenge. Hurry, get back down to the subway!

I like this subject & point of view, even though it is seen fairly regularly. In this case I think it loses a bit of the potential impact by having a few too many people on the perimeter; they seem to steal some attention away from the focus of the composition. Not much you can do about that (I hear you say). I can't argue with that, but I also can't bid higher than a seven for this one. 7.

I'd like it better if that person's head weren't a black blob...it's a little unsettling this way.

looks familliar (Worth1000K??) liked it then and now for the use of B&W to draw attention to the "every NYC" quality in the scene

As far as subway type shots go, this is a good one. THe lights on the train are a little too blown out perhaps, but this is still an effective shot. 7.
