OK, so it's ficticious.

I don't actually use my cell phone very often. This does fit into my REAL New Year's Resolution though - Photographing people more often, adding the human element to an area I lack skill/practice in doing.

Oh well. Didn't have the wow factor voters want. At least no zeros this time.
This was a shot I liked and had a different feel to it that I was pleased with.

69th place huh? Must have been phone sex..
ROFL - Thanks for the comments all!

I just can`t understand how this image scored an average of 5.39
It fits the challenge theme (more obviously than my submission did) and is a class apart (again comparing to mine.)
I expected this to ribbon and if not, then definitely top ten...am I losing the plot?

Awesome candid shot! I'm surprised this didn't do better. His total concentration on the cellphone, ignored girl on his shoulder.......image tells the story well.

Great image...very competently handled.
Would also have done well in the "Bokeh" challenge.
Good luck.

Not making the connection between the photo and the title, but if you mean the cell phone - maybe should show him walking away from it or something. Otherwise, a decent shot, but could use a more forward angle and get more of her face and maybe she has an expression of frustration with him.

Girl in the background distracting. Contrast a little harsh.

So timely and so true for too many of us. Great shot with the subtle hit of the significant other just peeking from behind your subject. Excellent 10
