Very interesting image. Looks almost as if the image of the boy was "pasted in". Was it? |

Nice feeling of being on the outside. I'd like to have seen his feet to emphasise the detachment. Clean and almost over-crisp (NeatImage?). |

A complete boy in the foreground would have been great, but the feeling is there and the light on the boy is excellent. |

Your title for this photo suits it to a tee. You can feel the hesitation in the child, should I go and play? But I don't know anyone! Well done. |

I thought about taking a picture just like this one! Didn't get the chance to do so though. Looks good to me, the only think I might have done differently would have been taking a profile type photo of the kid looking at the other kids, something to show his expression I guess. I dunno, I like the depth of field here so maybe this is better than my idea :) My vote: 8 |

Title makes this image. Excessive use of sharpening tools hurts it. One wonders, had you moved a tad to the left could you have palced the foreground child more on the right side of the image relative to the background activity, and gotten a better dynamic? |

Feet in the frame, and this would have been pretty perfect. Still a nice capture. Great emotion conveyed. |

This is a good shot that would have been much better if his feet were not cut off. |

Really enjoy this shot. Its as if he's taking one last glimpse of the battlefield before charging in! Kind of wish you has caught his feet. |

This is a nice moment. I don't know how much time you had tor frame, but it would be interesting to see from a lower angle (my the boys view) and to see his feet. |
