The clouds and colors are very dramatic. Wish there was some detail in the fg. This appears to be quite oversharpened.

Those clouds are mad! The top half of this shot is excellent, but the bottom half looks way oversharpened with jaggies and halos all over the place.

Those clouds are definately spooky, what a capture! It seems a bit oversharpened.

Of course, the clouds and colors are awesome. However, the roofline and the haloing around the rightmost tree belie too much sharpening. This really detracts.

I remember this from the forums ... though I don't remember the weirdness image left - with the other branches there one suspects a cloning accident, but i cannot say. An extraordinary moment. There are artefacts from what appears to be very very heavy sharpening, which is a pity in my eyes, as they make the silhouette too attention-grabbing, and odd. Good shooting though.

i remember these amazing images. they were incredible the first time i saw them, and they still are. i am curious though, why you didn't crop out that major distraction on the left, as it really detracts from anotherwise fantastic image...

This one is already in my favs. I opened them both and compared them. This one seems a little over processed. The white part of the sky is blown out in this one and seems a bit over sharpened.

Unreal. The backlight is very strong so it's difficult to say if that is the reason for the halos around the edges on the house and trees, or if it's the result of too much USM. The clouds are fabulous and unreal. Good luck. /8

Certainly is hanting - i really like what you've done with the sky. It does, however, look a little out of place with that foreground - looks very much pasted on - an artifact of the extent to which you've processed the sky perhaps, either way it is a little bit of a shame because that sky is really cool.

Is this you, Van?? What a fantastic picture - these are the most unusual clouds I've ever seen.

If these clouds have not been enhanced (burning or cloning, etc.), then that is some scary S***!!! Really like the cloud formation and colours. I may have cloned out the weird clouds(?) on the left of the image just above the tree as it is a little distracting. Nice shot.

Those are some awesome clouds. I think cropping up about an inch would have improved the impact.

Amazing, doesn't look real! Just a tad overexposed in a small section above and to the left of the house.

Extraordanary subject! Too bad about all the chromatic noise, you could probably control it somewhat using tools like NoiseNinja or NeatImage. Also, I'd crop half an inch or so off the bottom. 7

Very nice image but I feel you may have over saturated the colour giving the banding effect in the yellow/orange colour.

I like the idea and the colors, but the clouds looks a little too fake and over-processed to me. The haloing from over-sharpening doesn't add to the image either.

Awesome threatening clouds. Personally would prefer a hint of more detail in the silhouette of the house, still a captivating photo. ....7....

Wow whats this, what a strage sky. The selective parts wasn't very well done, on the top of the building you can see a white line, but everything else seems good.

The sky is amazing, and I like the composition, but the silhouettes of the building and trees look a little jagged and haloed. Oversharpened maybe?

wow, look at those clouds. the bottom is kinda dull though

I think this is a bit too oversharpened due to the halo and jaggies around the roof. The clouds are pretty cool tho :)

The silhouetted building and brush seem a bit oversharpened, but a wonderful capture nonetheless.
