So, in trying to come up with ideas for the challenge, I was intrigued by photos I was seeing kinda like Barry's entry:
But I wanted to get sunbeams coming from it.
I cut a square into a piece of black mat board, and I thought that foggy air would have been enough to get the beams, but that didn't work. I had to have more of the actual smoke. And it was hard getting the smoke to fill the whole beam.
And I did get a shot with a cat trying to photo bomb
The white box was actually just a stand in for whatever square thing I found. I tried a plate
But I liked the box the best.
I wanted the light on the table to be in the perfect square, but my light source was too close to get a harsh shadow.
