A little creepy, I know. :-)

Proper name for these: Woolly Beech Blight Aphids
They are very small, maybe 1/16" in length. They've massed on a couple of branches on a single Beech tree as far as I can tell. They have an interesting behavior in moving / wiggling their fuzzy tail sections. Looks like the branch is moving when they're all doing this at the same time.
