 I noticed these three companions sitting together at a table in the lobby of a university building and seized the opportunity to capture the scene from a loft above. I hope that this conveys a sense of what "hanging out" looks like for a certain generation in modern times--both physically present, yet also independently engaged on screens. But I didn't want this to come across as judgmental--more just observational. I don't get the impression these three individuals were isolated from each other. But I do wonder what this same scene might have looked like about 15 years ago.

Photographically speaking this is well seen and there is a lot to commend. Great perspective, both from the camera angle and on life these days.
I'm still on the fence about whether this is good street photography but perhaps it is the more modern version.

Love the geometry here with the partial chairs and partial table. It really draws you eye to the 3 seated people each in their own world and disconnected from each other. Perhaps crop off the top 10-25% to really help the geonetry.
