I took a different approach for the second square shot. I opened the Powell Docks environment (https://www.fab.com/listings/c1d714a2-288f-4bfa-a820-ec0406d51c8a) and wandered around the set until I found a jetty view I liked. I added a bird, then a DSLR with a 1:1 crop and manual focus on it. The idea was to make the shot look like it was taken from the perspective of a second bird following behind — with the first bird in focus and the jetty blurred out. I finished by adding some fog and a washed-out look.
