Sometimes a familiar idea can still be re-presented in a compelling and original way. I actually appreciate this one because it DOESN'T read as "ha ha" funny or like a cheap shot at a familiar professional/cultural trope. Both the level of capture and the clean processing decisions--the composition, the framing, the purity of the whites, etc.--all read as something that strikes that rare balance of tasteful and smartly humorous.
Obviously, this was among my top votes, too. ;-) |

Okay. A great photo, but somewhat triggering. Subject is bang-on for the theme, as to is the composition. Should do well with voters. |
