I did a little cyberstalking on the cafe here. I was genuinely curious because it looks like the kind of coffee culture venue Elyse and I encountered in Seattle, and coffee is one of my deep loves in life. So when I saw the Munich connection, the visual style was obvious--Barbara to a "T." But I really love the abstraction--the way this is "about" something more ephemeral than a coffee shop, the diners within, or the urban context within which both are situated. It feels like a curated moment from a savored lifestyle. |
