 My dogwood tree in the front yard at the house where we lived 30+ years was always blooming on Mother's Day.

I'm not sure this was over-exposed. Just not a bright day, if I remember correctly.

And I much prefer a little breathing space :) Not for a textile pattern, perhaps, but for a calendar page.
