 This is KC, and she's probably the sweetest, most beautiful cat you'll ever meet. My parents adopted her when she wandered into our property a couple years ago, and she practically lives on attention like this.

The cropped ear is incidental, btw. I would have preferred the whole head be in the frame, but this was a candid that happened to have the best expression, and KC doesn't hold still for long when she's vying for attention. Decided to let the expression carry the image even if the cropping is less than ideal. :-)

Congrats, one happy cat and a loving child's hand to support their pet. It is always nice to see the warmth between people and their pets. A very charming photograph.

nice cat, DOF could be a bit bigger to get that hand somewhat in focus since it's such a big part of the picture and underlines the "pet" part
