Tears do it! I'm not sold on the very tight crop, but it's ok. The b&W works well with this. The expression is good too.

The lighting doesn't really appeal to me for some reason. Not sure why.

Great despair and tear there. Not sure if using soft focus or just slight out of focus, but it detracts from the subject and makes me eyes wander all over and not focus on her despair. Great use of lighting. 4

Like the concept, but focus is way too fuzzy, even for me- I really like soft focus shots.
