 This is my youngest daughter. She just recently started getting into photography herself, but I still had to bribe her to be my model (she prefers being on the other side of the camera).

I shot this in a dark room, with a ring light set of slightly in front and to the side. Processing was fairly simple.. desaturated the color channels, played with blacks and whites, increased the luminance on the green and yellow channels a little and did a minor crop on the right side.

For me it would work better without the hands and would still fill the frame

Wonderful! Kinda feel like a square crop around the face - including the hands though - would help this for this challenge. Solid 8 from me though.
