Hoping the voters will be curious enough or take the time to do a search on the words here if they are not already familiar with them.

On the side of the speckled crock is handwritten-style text; the words read "Poubelle de Table", French for "Table Garbage". Such containers are often set out in French and Belgian homes to keep the dining area tidy.

Suggestion for more space on left was good. I didn't have it, but a slightly different shot gave me the edge of the mandarin and then I added canvas to give it breathing room. Better, to my eyes, so thanks.
