Long before there was photography, there was music. It's actually what I studied in college. But even in my best days, I was never an especially great performer. I've always been more of the composer/conductor type. And these days, with a "real job" and three kids around the house, music is little more than an occasional hobby. Nevertheless, there are few things more enjoyable or more relaxing for me than sitting down and noodling around through a favorite chord progression or melody at this piano which still sits in my parents' living room. My grandmother bought it for me when I was about the age Henry is now, and it's still my very favorite instrument.

The title is a nod to the chord I'm playing here, which in root position would most likely be called Eb5(add2)--or something like that. It would really just depend on the musical context. Omitting certain notes (in this case G) allows the chord to function differently across various chord progressions, which in musical terms is called "open voicing."

I really like this. I may be biased though, I played piano too!

Very clever with the diagonal line and the use of black and white – just like the keys. Excellent. (already voted)
