 Fun night of light painting in Joshua Tree.

The "cave" opening is but a crack, and not very deep into the mountain. To create this long exposure I had to run in the dark, hope I didn't hit that giant boulder, find the crevice behind it, crawl in, light it up in a way that didn't create a shadow of me, pray there weren't any creepy crawlers in there, and find my way back in the dark with my eyes shot from the light burst.

Sometimes, while light painting, where you move around, the hardest part is finding your way back to the camera in the dark.
