 I'm allergic to bees, but this picture was worth the risk. Spring/summer 2003 when my thumb was turning an obvious shade of green I was constantly outside taking pictures of my various flowers. This particular day I had the pleasure of catching this *huge* bee feeding on my pink glads. This was my favorite shot, seemed like he was studying me just as much as I was studying him.

Nice shot. He was kind enough to turn around for you. I normally get their other end. The light through the fence provides some interesting highlights.
