 I used Topaz Simplify, in hindsight paying much more attention to the leaves than to the surroundings. I may try reprocessing to get a different look for the surroundings.

It's not clear but the leaves are held in place by an icy layer.

Did you know:
Leaves is translated in German to "Blätter" - which ist pronounced almost identical to "Platter"
So it's a perfect title ;-)

A very interesting perspective. The square crop here is a decidedly perfect framing choice, too. It really makes the "culinary" look you seem to have been going for register quite legibly. And it makes me wonder all the more what the context actually is. Looks like some kind of concrete formation?
