 In memory of John Lennon, Yoko Ono had "Imagine Peace Tower" built in Iceland in the year 2007. It is a beam of light that on some days, extends to over 4.000 meter / 13,000 feet altitude. This door is one of a few parts still standing from an old construction area fence. I did clone-remove two independent fence posts, other than that - only a simple crop and color adjustments.

Thank you so much for the kind words, beatabg :) The tower is lit on September 9th, Lennon's birthday each year. This year, at first, I felt we shouldn't light the tower - the state of the world is in such a bad place, so many on-going conflicts and so much tension. But after a few days I realized, we need all the beacons we can get. Thanks again for the comment - I am planning on posting some outtakes today to the Outtake thread which might offer different perspectives to this location and to prove that this indeed, is a freestanding singular door that makes no sense at all.
