The gated entrance to one of many picturesque ranch properties near home for me. This one is a favorite for me to photograph because it sits on hillside east of the one-lane county road--making it perfect for capturing early morning sunrise scenes like this one. In most cases, I would clone out the ranch branding to anonymize the scene, but here I wanted to leave it to anchor this image as the entrance to a real rural homestead and not just a random fence in the middle of nowhere.
