Definitely better.
The viewer is immediately drawn to the eyes (and your reflection), and the unique feature of the half-mustache may not be noticeable until second glance. Perhaps you can compensate for this with a clever title?

I do like the close up better. Its much sharper also. Love that you can look in her eyes!
