I recommend taking a shot, quickly checking for the important issues: focus, exposure, color balance, and framing. Then reshoot as necessary. It's a digital camera, there's no reason to settle for a poorly executed shot.
I'm not sure what resolution your camera is capable of. You should try to submit an image that is around 600-640 pixels on the long edge so you can take full advantage of the image size. This means that as long as you aren't using a cheap webcam, or a sub-megapixel camera, you should not have trouble resizing your image to this size. I hope you do well in your future entries. |
