| This really captures what I imagine to be early morning, before the mist has burned off. The line of the path leads one through the image and the backlit grasses just sparkle. |

| there's always a funny feeling to a landscape without sky. This one manages quite a bit of depth without it, showing different planes of crops in different attitudes/altitudes of mist. With its complex but unbroken geometries, the image is more a handshake than a kiss, but friendly enough. |

| Gorgeous. Definitely in the upper third of the crowd for me. Not a critique, but I do wonder if the emotional register might be just a little more ethereal with a shorter vertical crop to lose a bit more of the foreground path. |
