This is a nice shot and a very good pose, but you did not focus properly. I am giving you a 6 on good composition but do take care to always present a sharp image when it will help. there are times we want a soft focus, but this is not such a case. Lovely child and pet.

This would have been so much better if it was in focus and the boy was looking at the camera.

With the camera movement and the back of the boy's head, nothing much is happening to really draw the attention in.
