Oh, I like tnun's observation about the pattern on her dress - tones work as well. And now that I'm thinking along those lines, there are many many rectangles in the background, all of which serve to subtly reduce the potential chaos and emphasize the subject while still giving a sense of context. Congratulations on the top five placement.

liked this. I think because the square and rectangular prints on her dress echo the menu, as do the rectilinear divisions in her bag. (not to mention Penn Station, albeit not the original)
