Baling hay in temperatures over 100 degrees here in Texas is grueling work--even with air-conditioned tractor cabs. I was sweating as I snapped this from my car window on the way home from work on a Saturday afternoon.

Actually, the tractor is moving fairly quickly in this photo, as far as a baling operation like this goes (notice the fresh bale dropping from the conveyor behind the implement). There wasn't much dust in this operation, though. These square balers just don't create as much of a cloud as the big round balers do, I guess. But these guys (and there were actually half a dozen more tractors, but I wanted to keep the frame cleaner to give more of a sense of space) were definitely NOT taking a break. :-P

Nice scene, well taken. Maybe you were going for this vintage-y look, but I think I would like it better with a bit more contrast. 7
