I had an idea to use my new Instax Wide and Fuji X Half as inspiration for the entry.

I created some 1970's style images and printed them. This did not quite work as I pictured it.. I tried some compositions with a Table Top Photography Book Haight by Jim Marshall but the shots did not look clean enough to be advertisements. (although Instax often use table top scenes for scale)

So, you have the new Fujifilm X Half, eh? That looks like fun. I was looking at that the other day. Should be a fun camera to carry!

I've added it to our equipment database (Fujifilm X Half).

I like one of the side-by-side examples shown on the Fujifilm website. That could open some creative doors. One note though in case you use the side-by-side (2 in 1) feature ... that takes 2 shutter clicks to create so wouldn't be legit for the Standard ruleset.

I'm a little jealous. Have fun! :-)

Oh, I want to like this one so much. Love the concept, just would have been stronger (IMO) with the DOF included down thru the camera and displayed photos. Maybe the use of focus stacking would help here, especially in a static setting such as this? Good luck.

Thanks for the comment. I was kicking myself a little when you posted this during voting. I agree with you. I took a fair few different versions of the 'scene' and this plain white was a last minute shot as I went to put everything away. In the end it felt clean enough to use but 100% I should have re-shot with better lighting (This was window light) and front to back focus (also improve the background (This was placed on top of the cats litterbox so sub-optimal for a product shoot :) )
