Just wanted to say that I'm surprised this didn't do better.

I love the contrast of the cat's soft fur with the old mans wrinkly face in the background. I don't find the softer focus on the man distracting at all... It makes me feel like he's just deeper into dreamland than the cat :)

The light is really sweet, I can feel the coziness in the light too. I even think I can hear the cat purring. Good Job!

This cutie has become human.lol A good capture. A little desaturation would remove some of this red away. 6

There is a lot to like about this photograph. First off it meets the challenge to a high degree imo. As far as technique, very well done you have great focus, lighting, and DOF. I like the way your focal point is on the cat. Nice shot and all looks natural. Great Job!

Nice, I like the paralellism between pet and person! The woman (?) in the background is either to blurred or not blurred enough. This grade of blur is distracting. Getting her even more out of focus would have put more emphasis on the cat, having her sharper would have given both an equal importance to the composition. I hope this helps. Keep'em coming! 5.
