Robert's portfolio is so diverse, it was overwhelming for me to decide which direction to go with this challenge, but I ultimately settled on trying to pay homage to the dramatic sky scenes he manages to capture in landscapes like these:

So I took my camera with me out to the hilly rural countryside near Greenvine, hoping to find a suitable sunset scene that might include those dramatic horizontal color gradients, a touch of water reflection, and just a hint of human artifice enveloped by the beauty of its natural surroundings.

I'm quite sure this pales in comparison, but Bear, I do hope this scene resonates with your beautiful perspective on the world. :-) Thanks so much for your many years of service to this creative community.

The sky is great here and you caught the sun just as it was going down. The top half is the much stronger part of the image. Perhaps either lighten the bottom part or maybe go darker into silhouette to give it more impact.
