 Manual focus lens and with F2.0 the focus area is really narrow.

Only a few first bees around this time of year. So, prefocus on a flower where the bee was on. Wait for it to lift off and then burst shoot while moving the camera back and forth.

Trial and error, and sometimes you get lucky ;-) One out of 160 shots.

That could not have been easy. Very nice example of bokeh. Impressed that your bee seems to have stopped in motion to get his picture taken.
