An unhappy bridge is entering the wedding hall.
I am using depth of field to embossed the character's characteristics with a bit sad.
I did a micro-calibrated (+1) to have a bit fore-focus to get skin smooth effect to avoid break standard editing rule. I will provide sharp image for anyone who got triggered (or OCD) for soft image

Hey there from the Critique Club

My thoughts on the image: Interesting image with a very interesting subject. I like the juxtaposition of expecting happiness and your capture of an emotion that doesn't seem happy. I think this one is a stretch to meet my idea of a shallow DOF challenge. I think most of the voters felt the same way.

My ideas for improvement: My biggest critique of the overall image is where the main area of focus landed. I think had you captured her face and eyes crisply, this one would have finished with a better score.

Where I would have/did score this entry: I did not vote in this challenge, but this one would have landed in the 5 area for me. With that in mind, I feel the score of the capture as presented is appropriate. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the opportunity to provide a critique on your entry,
Eric

She really looks sad. There is a shallow DOF but it plays a minor role in the image for me.
