I wanted to give a repaired mug as a gift to a dear person as a symbol that not being perfect is absolutely ok.
So I carefully smashed the mug and then put it back together again with special gold glue. It was more difficult than I thought, a huge mess...
I had a second mug, which I gave away as a present, and this one still sits in the corner and reminds me of wabi sabi!
