Thanks Steve. Time was something I had no control over. The car show is only on once a month and closes at 1pm. Most of the cars were already gone when I took this photo.
I agree that the crop was too tight. Not that these was much more to work with, but I overdid it trying to straighten the car. It didn't work anyway. |

Detailed feedback, per your request:
As with the other photo of the motorcycle, the graininess struck me first. Being what I call a "rusty-crusty" the grain suits this subject better, however.
Crop is a little too tight for my own preferences, especially at the top of the frame.
Midday sun isn't helping, but again, you may not have been able to return at a better time. I've found overcast days are wonderful for these things, as long as I keep the bland sky out of the scene. It's like a giant softbox.
My approach to cars when photographing in midday sun with distracting backgrounds is to focus in on the details instead of the larger scene. That would be unlikely to have suited this topic, however. Although with the fisheye, even a close shot would have obviously been wideangle. |
