This was a fun one to do for sure! I needed to get the drone very close to me; probably 18 inches or so. With the safety sensors on it wouldn't do that (plus there were branches nearby, etc.). So ... I turned the sensors off. Now that was an adrenaline rush. I'd already accidentally bumped one of the control sticks while trying to cover up the remote, and that was with the safety control on. Was very concerned that I was going to send it into my face!

I started the pano series with the camera facing away, then I could hit the go button and put the remote on the ground next to me. I then, very, very, carefully, covered the remote with a camo shirt I brought with me.

The shot came out "ok". Not quite what I really wanted to be honest. I envisioned my head being larger and more prominent, but I couldn't slide the pano to get it quite right. Still liked it enough to enter it though. :-)

On of my favorite takes on some of your images is the way you have of blending in your photographs. Wow, what an image.

Havin' a wee bit of fun both pre- and post-processing, are we, Barry? I'm eager to hear how you did this one... It's quite brilliant.
