Hi Danetta. I'm sure we'll be seeing great things to come, given that you have a fantastic tool in that 10D and what I can see from your portfolio. Good luck. :)

Thanks to those who had something constructive to say. I entered this photo purely because it was taken in the right time frame. I really don't care for this picture at all... I was just getting acquainted with how a challenge works on this site.

And for the record... The wind is blowing through the water. :) Hence the "lack of focus".

The image appears to be out of focus and you need to take full advantage of the file and pixel size in order to appeal to this group...Good Luck

better luck next time. just don't give up. keep trying. and really, really, take advantage of this site by looking at the images that win, and then trying to recreate them yourself. it takes a lot of practice, but if you are interested in photography, it is worth it!

WAY too small. Please read up on how to properly resize an image for entry here. On the entry page you have an option to PREVIEW your entry - PLEASE do so.

As for the image itself...i see a dark blurry pic of water. Too small to determine anything more, excpet perhaps that it lacks any idea of compostion.

picture too small and nothing is in focus - you'd need a much faster shutter speed to freeze the motion.

Good photo, but the file size is frustratingly small and makes the image difficult to view. In the future, larger images will bring you greater scores.

where's the wind?

Not a tremendously compelling shot, I'm afraid...

No reason to submit such a small photograph. Please remember that a larger photo (between 600-640 pixels on the long edge) equates to more detail and a better chance for an encouraging score.

Nothing interesting about this.
