My experience with airplane and helicopter shots, is no more than 1/100 shutter speed, and with helicopters, maybe up to 1/125 when they're on final approach (full power/RPM). The effect is the blurred propeller or rotor. It isn't easy with a slow shutter, moving target, to get a shot as clear as this. Good photo!
