 We visited this region as a result of a gigantic jigsaw puzzle we had given the kids to do. I thought it was a fantasy but searched to see whether it be so. I was delighted to find out this place did indeed exist- I kind of dreamed of seeing it in real life. The next adventure was to find it. That day happened 17/10/13, and what a day it was. We had no idea where it was but just started walking from our temporary apartment. We knew it was towards the mountains so we just followed them. It's funny how a mountain can seem a lot closer than they actually are. I think in the end we walked close to over 2 hrs, but what a delight it was when we finally arrived. Can't believe that was 10 years ago, when all the kids still lived at home, sigh how things have changed.

I have revisited this a few times. There is something of your stylistic representation that does appeal, but on balance I find the image just too flat, giving the church the appearance of being pasted on to the background. Nonetheless, a lovely scene and I suspect a cracking base photo.
