This is a very intriguing image which stops the viewers and forces them to think. Many things in nature are always surprising us, however, this one is beyond my comprehension. This is what makes this image unique.
It is a very good exposure and the highlights, the whites on whites is a sight to behold. It is like looking at those long crevice brushes but the overall activity you captured here is very entertaining. The one snapped branch has no collection of this ice where as the remainder, still standing has them. As if they fell off the fallen branch because of its position.
Well, it is a very pleasing composition and one that fitted the challenge handily. It is also an enigma because the mystery lingers in the mind. Many voters only give images a very short span of attention and some never return for a second look. Those that look longer are rewarded the beauty of images like yours. I can not see a photographer walking past this little wonder without seeking this wonderful capture.
