Awesome little birds called Skimmers. Their lower beak is longer than their upper beak, and they drag that lower beak in the water "skimming" for fish!

I loved that the seagull was hanging out with them.

I'm tired and sore from today's art show, but I'll post some photos of skimmers from a side view. They're funky looking critters!

Gulliver makes this a 'group' of things. :-) Otherwise it's a flock of one bird type. Sorry, been seeing too many groups of all one thing so far in my viewing / voting. This is a lovely image. Good luck.

Turned out quite nicely. Their coloring makes it look like they don't have eyes. I'd be interested in knowing the evolutionary purpose of that feature. Won't vote on this one since I was with you when you shot this.

This is so charming. I hope you will write what type of birds these are, who appear to be wearing their hoodies over their eyes.
