 Underneath the lighthouse in Port Washington, Wisconsin. One of the more unusual looking lighthouses from my September road trip. I had to wait about 20 minutes for some ladies that were taking swimsuit pics to finish up, then many shots trying to capture some crashing waves.


Not anywhere near what it takes to come in at the top of this sort of challenge, but I really like the interplay of the shapes and shadows in this image.

The entire image has an architectural feel, sharply chiseled and carefully set out.
Fellini-esque. Has that sense of mystery and epiphany. Draws one in with an unused-to urgency, an imperative beckoning. Congratulations on bringing this about. Sweet light and composition. Very fine stuff.
