In my garden there is a small pond with a bubbling stone.
The glass ball is a paperweight with cut continents that I had once received as a promotional gift many years ago.
I placed the ball on the opening of the bubbling stone and photographed it together with the water flowing by: in bright sunshine - so that the water glistens nicely and I could use a fast shutter speed

This is really quite nice. In a perfect world, I'd almost want the water to be coming from on top, as well. But your water splash is beautifully lit, and your choice of speed definitely makes an impact.

Love how the splash looks so three-dimensional. Almost like it's solid. Clever image.
