Last year my sister-in-law had a fall, broke her arm and became too frail and confused to continue to look after herself. Her home was sold and she is now in residential aged care. Just before the new owners took over, my husband and I visited her lovely, one acre garden and I took lots of photos. I made a calendar for her Christmas present. This is the picture for September. (Even though I shot it in October.)

I sure love magnolias - this is very painterly. Not going to lie - I turned my iPad upside down to view it that way too
